Welcome to the ACES SoCal blog. We still have the website going with lots of old photos and updated information on events and meetings. But this blog is a place for active members friends of the club and people of interest to post current info and updates of their builds. Check it out.

ACES MEMBER BUILD DAY 1

Special thanks to ACES club members Anthony, Randy, and Mickey for their help on the 27 T modified roadster, along with Mickey's wife Sherrie this past Saturday. We split into two groups early Saturday de-greasing the 1965 Chevy 327 on one side while the other group hacked off the suicide perch that came on the chassis, only to be replaced by a hand made front cross member that complimented a revised spring behind front end design.
Lunch was cold Coors Light paired with norther grass fed grilled beef burgers.
By the end of the day we had an early Chevy mill almost ready for paint, and a completely re designed chassis front end. Thanks again to all who helped. It makes me proud to be an ACE.
